如何添加信用卡激活PAYPAL:

首先到招行或建行等银行申请Master卡或Visa卡(可以透支消费、双币种的那种国际信用卡)，在建行也叫龙卡(双币种)贷记卡(国际标准信用卡)。目前国内各大银行竞争很激烈，如果你有朋友在那些银行，完全可以免费申请到国际信用卡！

以前曾经风行的中国工商银行的“牡丹国际借记卡”现在已不能激活PayPal了，所以大家还是去办一张正规的VISA或MasterCard，国内各大银行的国际信用卡都可以。现在都逐步推广使用信用卡，办起来已没有过去那么复杂了。我是用招商银行的信用卡激活PayPal的，觉得比较方便，所以把整个过程整理了一下，希望能对大家有所帮助 。其实各大银行都差不多，可起到触类旁通的启发作用。

第一步、申请信用卡

1、申请条件：
年满18周岁，具有完全民事行为能力的中国公民、在我国境内有固定职业和住所的外籍人士和港澳台同胞，均可申请信用卡。免担保人 、免保证金，只需您提供本人相关资料和证明，即可申办招行信用卡。如果你是学生，需要提供什么材料可直接到招商银行去问，或者可以让家长办主卡，你办张附属卡就可，附属卡的年龄仅需16周岁。
2、申请办法：
你可以到当地招商银行信用卡部办理。如果当地没有招商银行的可以登陆到招商银行信用卡网站http://www.8008205555.com，在网上下载申请表，或者打免费电话到800-820-5555免费电话索取表格。申请卡时填的资料，最好自己留一份，以作备份。
3、所需资料：
申请人身份证明复印件
加盖单位公章的工作证明原件
单位开具的收入证明原件
4、办卡时间：
申请表和所需资料提交或邮寄给招商银行信用卡中心后，一般在2个星期左右可以收到信用卡。在这其间你也可打免费电话800-820-5555去询问办卡的进度情况。
5、开卡：
一般在2个星期左右，信用卡中心会把信用卡寄给你，信函中会告诉你如何开卡，你就可以打免费电话800-820-5555进行开卡。在回答完信用卡中心人员有关你卡的资料确认后，你的信用卡就可以用了。然后信用卡中心会在10个工作日内将信用卡的取款密码邮寄给你。虽然此时你没有密码，但已经可以拿来激活PP了，因为在激活PP填卡资料时不需要信用卡取款密码的。

第二步、激活PayPal

1、登录自己的帐户，点左上角的 Add credit card

2、进入新的页面后在Credit card number:填入16位国际信用卡号 

3、Expiration date:填入到期日，在卡的正面可以找到(比如我的是06/09，也就是2009年6月到期)

4、在Card verification number:填借记卡的验证号，就是背面卡号后面的最后三位数字（不是卡号的最后三位，是在卡号后面另外的三位） 

5、First Name要再填一次你注册时的名，姓是已经填好的

6、再填一次(核对)你注册PP时的有关信息 

7、按Add credit card，出现另一页面：

8、把此页面拉到最下方：
Click Get Number to authorize PayPal to charge $1.95 USD to your credit card ending in **** (点击下面的“Get Number”按钮以同意PayPal在你的****结尾的信用卡上收取1.95美元的费用)
点击下面的 Get Number 按钮。出现如下的页面, 初步完成：

9、这时并没有真正激活你的PayPal，你还需要一个4位的交易码。此时PayPal会发email到你的注册邮箱，提示你怎么继续激活PP。信的内容如下：

PayPal has charged a $1.95 USD Expanded Use Fee to your credit card. You can obtain and enter your Expanded Use Number by following the steps below:
1. In the item description section of your next credit card statement, your 4-digit Expanded Number will be printed next to the $1.95 USD PayPal Expanded Use Fee. Check your next statement to find your unique Expanded Use Number. 
2. Click the link below and type in your unique Expanded Use Number:
https://www.paypal.com/row/MEM-NUMBER

If you access your credit card statement online, it may take up to 4 business days for your Expanded Use Number to appear. If you don't have online access to your credit card statement, please wait for your printed statement to arrive in the mail.*
After you have successfully entered your Expanded Use Number, your<BR>enrollment will be complete and you will be able to use this funding source.

信的大概意思是：你在某月某日某年与PayPal交易了$1.95。你可以在4个工作日后到信用卡中心查问你的消费情况，从而得到一个PayPal四位数的交易码，然后点 https://www.paypal.com/row/mem-number，就可以激活PayPal了。一定要在PayPal交易后的第4个工作日打电话问信用卡中心要交易码。如果让信用卡中心向PayPal投诉的话，PayPal会永久取消你的帐户!

10、得到交易码：
上面的步骤完成后，你的信用卡会被扣1.95美元，在交易完成后4个工作日后可打电话800-820-5555，要求查一下卡的消费明细，验证卡号、姓名、身份证号码、手机号之后，要求工作人员给查一下“交易商户”是什么内容，她会告诉你是“PayPal****(4位数字)或****(4位数字)PayPal，记下这4位数，这就是PayPal扣掉$1.95费用时的四位交易码。

11、激活成功：
进入信箱, 打开PayPal发来的那封信，点https://www.paypal.com/row/mem-number
登陆进去，点左上角:

转到输入激活码页面 ，输入这4位交易码：

点确认键Submit后转到恭喜你成功的页面，此时你的PayPal就彻底激活了！你会发现自己的PayPal帐号成为Verified（核实）的了。PayPal帐号激活以后，PayPal会email给你：成功了！你就可以充分发挥PayPal的作用了。
